Vootza is a product owned and operated by Thought Bulb Research and Development LLP, registered in India.

Vootza is used by one person — the facilitator — from their own screen. We collect:

• ▸Your name and email address, provided when you create an account
• ▸Your organisation's name, and its logo if you upload one
• ▸The activities you mark as favourites
• ▸Usage data: pages visited and actions taken within the platform
• ▸Billing details, held by our payment provider rather than by us

Nothing from the people in your room. Participants do not sign in, create an account, join or scan anything. Vootza never sees their names, their answers or their photographs, because none of that is ever sent to us.

Your information is used solely to:

• ▸Operate and improve the Vootza platform
• ▸Keep you signed in and remember your favourites
• ▸Provide customer support
• ▸Process payments securely, via our payment gateway partners
• ▸Send you service messages about your account

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

• ▸Stripe, our payment processor, for billing only — it handles card details, and we never see or store them
• ▸Infrastructure providers (Supabase for accounts and data, Vercel for hosting) under data processing agreements
• ▸Resend, which delivers sign-in and account emails
• ▸Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a sign-in is a person rather than a script
• ▸Have I Been Pwned, when you choose a password: the first five characters of a one-way hash are sent so we can warn you if that password is in a known breach. The password itself never leaves your browser, and the service cannot tell which password was asked about.
• ▸Meta, through the Meta Pixel on our website: it records page views and whether you signed up or subscribed, so we can measure our advertising. We never send it your name, your email address, or anything you write inside Vootza.

If you would rather not be measured, browser settings and tracker blockers stop the pixel loading, and nothing about Vootza stops working when they do.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by emailing hi@thethoughtbulb.com.

Vootza uses cookies and local storage to maintain your session and preferences. These are essential for the platform to function and are not used for advertising.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
